Ace was a playable character in Final Fantasy Type-0, and one of the main characters of the game.
A student of the legendary Class Zero in the Rubrum Peristylium Suzaku. As part of the resistance operation "Operation Apostle", he and his comrades sought to become the Agito, a messiah prophesied in ancient mythology to appear at the time of Finis, an apocalyptic calamity.
During the Dissidian Wars, Ace and the other members of Class Zero travelled independantly from the rest in search of ways to gain enough strength to defeat Chaos, after coming across various portals the Class all disappeared through one and removed themselves from the War Cycles.
Ace's base attire is his uniform that consists of a black long-sleeve jacket, white pants, a medium-sized red cape and a brown pack. In EX Mode Ace's cape flutters as if caught by wind and his cards glow.
In his alternative outfit 'Summer Uniform', Ace wears a white short-sleeve jacket, black pants, and gains gloves and a necktie, his cape and pouch retain their colours.
Ace's Third Outfit 'Graduation Attire', dresses Ace in his ceremonial attire - a red jacket with ornamentation, bracers and a longer white cape.
A Power Gambler, Ace is uses a strategist style of fighting that relies slightly on luck when using Brave attacks as the damage dealt depends on the type of card drawn and the effects of attacks depend on the Deck used. The Deck Ace uses can be changed by either successfully using a full Brave attack combo or using a HP attack. Ace also has a fairly fast movement speed and evasion rate but is easily outrun by faster opponents like Terra and Tidus.
Attack – All Bravery damage dealt is doubled.
Support – Attacks have greater range.
Life – Generates Assist gauge when attacking.
Spirit – Generates more EX Force than usual.
Changes Deck after each successful Attack combo or HP Attack, Cycles through Decks in a set pattern (Attack > Support > Life > Spirit > Attack).

Flings a stream of cards, dealing low damage before finishing with an explosion. Attack can be charged by holding [Square] before throwing; the more charged the faster the throw and explosion. After Attack finishes switches to Attack deck
Throws a line of cards that explodes in a line below opponent. Absorbs a small amount of HP (10% dealt). After Attack finishes switches to Life deck.
Spins cards around Ace like a barrier before firing out in four directions (one deck each way). Can block attacks while spinning. After Attack finishes switches to a random deck.
Throws a spiral which flows forward like a wave before flowing back. After Attack finishes switches to Support deck.
Throws a series of cards which spread out before homing in on the opponent. Produces a large amount of EX Force on contact. After Attack finishes switches to Spirit deck.
