Lenneth Valkyrie is the main protagonist of Valkyrie Profile and a recurring figure in the sequels. She presides over Midgard - the lands of the human realm. Sent forth by Odin, the 'Battle Maiden' scours the killing fields for fallen warrior souls upon whom to bestow eternal heavenly glory as soldiers in the Gods' Armies. As 'The Chooser of the Slain' she is revered as a saviour by some, while reviled as a death goddess by others.
As only one Valkyrie can be active at a time, Lenneth resides in her human host Platina who unknowingly reincarnates every century until Lenneth is needed. Of the three Valkyries, Lenneth is the most balanced and stoic, having compassion and respect for humanity but still seeing her role as a duty to be fulfilled.
In the Dissidian Wars, she saw a kindred spirit in Cosmos, understanding the need to summon warriors from different worlds to fight as an army. However, as a being between realms she was able to leave the Wars willingly after a cycle had finished.
Lenneth’s basic attire is based off of her main attire in Valkyrie Profile - A white Robe with a tasselled gold hem covered by blue/gold armour, on her head a feathered crown-helm resting on long plaited hair. In EX Mode, Lenneth equips the great treasure - Demon Sword 'Levantine' and a golden winged aura.
Her alternative costume 'Silver Valkyrie', dresses Lenneth as depicted in-game with darker blue armour, white/silver adornments and a shorter plait. In EX Mode, her aura is silver.
Her 3rd costume 'Platinum Woman' has Lenneth appear as her human host Platina, losing her armour and dressed instead in a woollen blue dress and brown leather coat. Her Plaited hair is longer and more loose. In EX Mode, her aura is blue.
Lenneth’s manikin 'Ancient Battle Maiden' is Silver
Lenneth fights as a Aerial Launcher, utilising a tactic of knocking her opponents around preventing them from attacking her.
