Rosa Joanna Farrell was a playable character in Final Fantasy IV. She hailed from Baron, and was a skilled Archer and White Mage. Rosa was Cecil and Kain's childhood friend, and harbored romantic feelings for Cecil. Though Cecil was reluctant to let her follow him into danger at first, she accompanied him and stayed by his side.
During the Dissidian Wars Rosa stayed mainly outside of the field acting as a supporter and healer of the Cosmos Warriors, however her love for Cecil caused her to follow him onto the field where she was defeated by the Chaos Warriors.
Her Main Attire is based on her appearance in the artwork of the DS version of Final Fantasy IV. On her shoulders are small horned pauldrons worn over a floor length white and gold cape. Rosa wears a sleeveless white top with long, decorated gloves and a large belt that holds a dagger on her side. She also wears gold and pink braces on her knees and light purple ankle boots.
Her Alternative Attire 'Silver Archer' is based on her Amano appearance and colours her cape in silver rather than gold and her garments and boots in greys and whites.
Her 3rd Attire 'White Queen' is based on her attire in the sequel After Years wearing a long-sleeved, floor-length white gown with a fur muffler, small pauldrons and a silver belt around her waist. She wears fingerless gloves, gray sandals, and a decorated pink and purple cape.
Her DLC Attire 'Queen of Twin Moons' incorporates elements of her Super-Deformed designs, dressing her in more simplistic garments coloured in pinks and golds with a pure white cloak. Her hair is longer, coloured a darker blonde and held back with a red hairband.
Her Manikin Delusionary Damsel is Dark Blue with Silver.
Rosa fights as a Divine Archer combining her roles and tactics of White Mage and Archer. Rosa can heal and defend herself while attacking opponents from a distance with bow attacks and Holy magic. While defensive, Rosa doesn’t lack for offensive as she can charge her own Brave using techniques such as ‘Pray’, this does however leave her slightly vulnerable. Another downside is her lack of close-range attacks as she is predominantly mid and long-ranged.
