Sol was a boy from the small country of Lux and a protagonist in Final Fantasy Dimensions. He dreamed of becoming a soldier of the Avalon Empire and flying an airship. He was one of the four Warriors of Light chosen by the crystal of Lux.
In the Dissidian Wars, Sol worked alongside his opposite - the Warrior of Darkness Nacht, serving Cosmos as guardians and seekers of the Rifts. During the 3rd cycle of war they were both cast into one of the rifts that they had found by several Chaos warriors and were thus removed from the further cycles.
Sol’s basic attire is based off of his 'jobless' appearance identical to his artwork - he wears a white vest over a baggy brown shirt, held with a black belt round his waist; white arm wraps; white trousers, and white sandals. In EX Mode, Sol glows with light.
His alternative costume 'White Knight' is based off of Paladin the job class, Sol's best physical class as a Light Warrior, dressing him in silvery armour.
A 3rd costume 'Holy Seer', based on Sol's best magic job class - Seer - dresses him in white robes and a cat-ear hood.

Sol is a Light Defender who focuses on defence over offence, using attacks from afar and blocking techniques to protect himself. His attack and movement speeds are above average but his attack strength is average.
Smashs sword into the ground, releasing an outward shockwave. Sword smash can be Wall Rushed for extra damage.
Assumes a defensive stance with sword held like a shield, blocks Brave attacks. If O is tapped after blocking a close range attack, counters with an upward slash.
Bathes Sol's sword in Light, extending it before he swings in in a large arch in front of Sol.
Creates a vertical beam of light, tap O to create up to three beams in a line.
Sol swings his sword releasing a blade of wind that continues forward. Can initiate a chase sequence
Heals Bravery without attacking. Requires strict timing on casting, to chain correctly. Restores up to 20% of base Bravery.
Assumes a curled stance in air, blocks Brave attacks. If O is tapped after blocking a close range attack, counters with a downward slash.
Sol charges forward slashing his sword downwards, upon hitting the ground the sword creates a small explosion of light.
Launches Sol into the air and descends to stab his opponent. Can control landing point with analog stick and charge to increase speed. If [Square] is tapped on impact, launches Sol for a second hit.
Sol charges towards the opponent, then rises and strikes them multiple times before knocking them away. Can Wall Rush for additional damage.
Fires several orbs at the opponent that explode in a row either when reaching their furthest distance or after tapping [Square]. Can Wall Rush for additional damage.
Fires electrical bolts in four directions, slightly homes in on opponent.
Brave to HP Attacks
(Chained from Wind Slash) Follows up with several rings of wind at the opponent.
EX Mode - Power of Light
Recovers HP over time during EX Mode.
Doubles Critical Hit Rate during EX Mode
Decreases Brave damage dealt to Sol by 33%.
Sol charges Power, the player must select 'Holy' and then 'Earthbreaker' from a list of several commands in a short space of time. If correct, Sol will fire a massive blast of Light at the opponent. If incorrect, Sol only fires a small blast of Holy.
